Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data we process, for what purpose and what rights you may exercise, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Act 3/2018 on Data Protection and the guarantee of digital rights.

02 · Why we process your data

Contact form enquiries. To answer the questions you send through the website forms, including the Adult School form. Legal basis: your consent.

Subscriber and member management. To arrange and maintain the season subscription or membership, allocate a seat and handle payments and renewals. Legal basis: performance of the contract or of the membership relationship.

Donations and donation certificates. To record contributions, issue the donation certificate and file with the Spanish tax authority the informative return required by Patronage Act 49/2002. Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation.

Information about concerts and activities. To send you the programme, date changes and orchestra news. Legal basis: your consent, or the legitimate interest in informing existing subscribers, members and donors.

03 · What data we process

Identification and contact data (first name, surname, email, telephone and, where relevant, postal address).

For donors, additionally the tax ID and the amount donated, as these are required by law in order to issue the donation certificate.

For subscribers, the data needed to manage the subscription and payment.

We do not process special categories of data and we do not carry out automated profiling.

04 · How long we keep it

Form enquiries are kept for as long as needed to answer them and up to one year afterwards, unless you ask for erasure sooner.

Subscriber, member and donor data are kept for the duration of the relationship and then blocked for the statutory limitation periods: generally four years for tax matters and up to six years for accounting records.

Data used to send information are kept until you withdraw consent or unsubscribe.

05 · Who we share it with

We do not pass data to third parties except where legally required.

In the case of donations, the Spanish Tax Agency, under Act 49/2002.

Service providers acting as processors (web hosting, email and the bank), with whom the contracts required by Article 28 GDPR have been signed.

06 · Your rights

You may exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to info@orquestasinfonicadetorrevieja.es stating the right you wish to exercise.

If you believe your request has not been handled properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

07 · Security

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. The website uses encrypted HTTPS connections on all forms.
